As well as providing exquisite Japanese food, Shoku will bring to you a line-up of HK’s favourite musicians to entertain our guests from 7-10pm every Friday night all through the summer months.
Guests can choose their main course from Shoku’s Binchotan-grilled signatures, including a succulent Dry-Aged Ribeye and Roasted Suckling Pig which soaks in the distinct charcoal taste for a fantastic flavour, and hand-caught Kinki Fish flown in daily from Hokkaido. New dishes such as the Uni Shiso Tempura and Shoku Bone-in Beef Short Rib from hormone free, grass-fed cows, and marinated with a Japanese barbeque sauce are sure to be favourites.
We’ll kick off the season with the return of Mark Peter’s three-piece live band. Performing lively music of different genres and entertaining customer requests, they will also welcome Ms. Elizabeth Garozzo as their new vocalist, a famed soprano previously with Walt Disney World.
Guests are encouraged to choose from the selection of fresh seafood such as surf clams, abalone, geoduck, conch and much more from the display around the grill which is flown in daily from the best suppliers in Japan, and cooked on the binchotan grill.
Available all week for lunch and dinner, Shoku is also launching two seven-course tasting menus, featuring a crowd-pleasing Wagyu Beef or seasonal Japanese seafood straight from the Binchotan grill. Several Spring-themed dishes will be introduced such as Marinated Okinawa Bitter Melon, Beetroot and Mozzarella Salad with Yuzu dressing, Matsuba Crab and Pumpkin Soup, and Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with Uni. The tasting menus are priced at HKD1780 for two.
